What is exodus® Wallet?

exodus® Wallet is a multi-asset cryptocurrency wallet with Web3 integration and a polished user experience. It lets you manage tokens, NFTs, and connect to decentralized applications directly via browser extensions or built-in dApp browsers on mobile. Private keys are stored locally, giving you custodial control.

Key Features

  • Multi-chain support and live portfolio tracking.
  • Built-in swaps and portfolio tools for easy trading.
  • Web3 connectivity for dApps, DeFi and NFT marketplaces.
  • Device-level encryption and local key management.

How to Download exodus®

Download only from official channels. Choose from Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux), mobile apps (iOS/Android) or the Web3 extension where available.

  1. Visit the official exodus® download page (verify domain).
  2. Select platform and install following on-screen prompts.
  3. Create a new wallet or choose “Restore” with your recovery phrase.

Setting up & Backing Up

During first-run you’ll be prompted to set a password and write down the recovery phrase. Store that phrase offline — it’s the only way to recover your assets if you lose device access.

Troubleshooting Login & Connection Issues

Common login problems include corrupted sessions, outdated app versions, or local firewall/VPN interference.

  • Ensure your app is the latest release and restart the device.
  • Check system clock and internet connectivity.
  • Disable conflicting browser extensions if using Web3 extension.
  • If "exodus® login not working", attempt a restore using your 12- or 24-word recovery phrase on another device.

Account Recovery & 2FA Reset

exodus® does not hold your keys — recovery is only possible with your seed phrase. If you used third-party 2FA apps, restore the wallet on a new device then reconfigure any 2FA providers. There is no centralized 2FA reset if you lack the seed phrase.

Error Connecting exodus® Account

Connection errors may be transient. Update the app, check network settings, and temporarily disable strict security software. For persistent errors, capture error messages and consult the official support channels.

Official exodus® Help Center

Always consult the exodus® Help Center for verified articles, step-by-step recoveries, and contact options. Avoid forums or unofficial links when handling recovery phrases or security questions.

Best Practices

  • Keep your recovery phrase offline and split across secure locations.
  • Use strong local device passwords and OS-level disk encryption.
  • Verify URLs before downloading or linking your wallet to dApps.
